When it comes to restoring old photos, scuffed or missing pieces can be a challenge. This was the case for one customer who sent me an old photo of her grandmother being interviewed by the press. 

The image had been badly damaged, leaving some of the pieces either scuffed or completely missing. 

I set out on a mission to restore this important photo as best I could, bringing it back to its original state and preserving a family memory.

As I  began the process, it became clear that some of the missing pieces would be difficult to replace. especially the teacup in her hand it was eventually duplicated from the other teacup on the coffee table.
